One of the biggest sellers for SGI is our integral blind units, specifically designed for use in Ambulances. These units can be fitted behind van conversion windows or produced as a complete unit with a specialist outer glass component. The units are fitted with a venetian blind with aluminium slats, steel chords for durability, and a hard coat polycarbonate that we hold an EU R43 approval for. It is now also possible to have the blinds digitally printed with an image of your choosing.
We are also able to supply bonded glass with an opaque ‘frosted’ effect, both fully frosted or striped for extra privacy. This effect is applied during the manufacturing process and cannot be removed, so unlike a frosted film, it is extremely durable and able to withstand the demands of being fitted in an ambulance.
